If you've been to the Southeast, you've seen the incredible mini ecosystems that thrive on the great big Live Oak trees. The resurrection fern, one of the inhabitants of the Live Oak, can be dried up for up to 100 years and magically come to life with rain! This monotype was hand-printed on Rives BFK cream paper using a mechanic etching printing press. The image was created by inking up a real-live fern in order to create the impression on paper, each print is unique, so please expect to see some slight variation with each print. This is a limited-edition run of a one-of-a-kind print!
